Artworks I designed for the 2024 ‘Changes’ edition of Esperanto Magazine. As the accompanying poem was about reflection, I wanted to capture images that represented fleeting moments in life. Some images feature the juxtaposition of a sharp, focussed subject with a blurry background to achieve this, others have an overall visual sense of slow movement in time. I used a slow shutter-speed effect, and a sepia-tone black and white filter to create a sense of nostalgia and memory.
